A Journey Back to Building

In many ways, Honestus Woodworks brought me full circle. My journey began at a local lumberyard specializing in millwork and specialty woods. I began delivering materials to job sites and furniture builders, eventually learning to pick, mill, and prepare orders. That experience led me to a frame-to-finish construction crew, where I learned the fundamentals of building and developed a real appreciation for the craft. After several years in construction, the uncertainty of seasonal work led me down a different path. I went back to school, earned my degree in electronics engineering, and began a career in the semiconductor industry. Over the next ten years, I worked my way from technician to manager of an equipment maintenance team. I had built a successful career, but I never stopped building.

Outside of work, I was always working on projects around my own home, helping family and friends, and finding ways to create something with my hands. Eventually, I realized that the work I enjoyed most was the work I had started with years earlier—building, creating, and helping people improve their homes.

In 2018, I decided to take a chance and start Honestus Woodworks.

Today, our focus is on decks, outdoor living spaces, exterior carpentry, and remodeling. Whether we're building a new deck, rebuilding an aging one, or helping bring a homeowner's vision to life, I approach every project with the same philosophy:

Do it right. Pay attention to the details. Build something you're proud to put your name on.

For me, Honestus Woodworks is more than a business. It's a return to the work I love and a chance to create something people will enjoy for years to come.

Built With Passion. Finished With Pride.
